Severn at Coalport
At 220 miles long, the Severn is the longest river in Great Britain. Its source is Plynlimon near Llanidloes in the Cambrian Mountains of Wales and it then flows through the counties of Shropshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire before, as the Severn estuary, it discharges into the Bristol Channel.
