The Boat Inn
Probably the most famous building in Jackfield, the Boat Inn regularly gets flooded when the river Severn breaches its banks in Winter and is a popular target for the media, both newspapers and television, who use it to show the comparative height of the water. The door to the right has marks made over many years showing the relative heights of the floods.
